Yes. If you are already in Thailand on a tourist or Non-O visa, we can convert it to a 1-year retirement extension at Chonburi Immigration in Jomtien without leaving the country.

Do I need THB 800,000 in the bank?

Either THB 800,000 seasoned for 2 months before application and 3 months after, OR proof of monthly income of THB 65,000, OR a combination of the two totalling THB 800,000 per year.

Do I need health insurance?

Health insurance is mandatory for the O-A visa applied from abroad. The in-country Non-O retirement extension does not currently require insurance, but we always recommend cover.

How often do I need to report to immigration?

Every 90 days you must file a 90-day report confirming your address. We can file this for you online or in person.
