The Thai marriage visa (Non-O based on marriage) is a 1-year, renewable visa for foreign nationals married to a Thai citizen. The financial requirement is lower than the retirement visa and it allows you to apply for a work permit.

Eligibility requirements
- Legally registered marriage to a Thai citizen (Kor Ror 2 / Kor Ror 3)
- THB 400,000 in a Thai bank account seasoned for 2 months, OR THB 40,000/month income
- Valid passport with at least 18 months validity
- No criminal record in Thailand or home country

- Bank statement and bank letter (THB 400,000) or income certification from embassy
- Photos of the couple together at home, in the neighbourhood and with family
- TM.7 application form, TM.30 address notification and passport copies
