The Non-Immigrant B visa is the standard route for foreigners employed by a Thai company or running their own Thai-registered business. We handle the company sponsorship paperwork and pair it with a work permit.

Eligibility requirements
- Job offer or ownership in a registered Thai company
- Sponsoring company with paid-up capital of THB 2 million per foreign employee (THB 1 million if married to a Thai national; BOI companies follow their own rules)
- Usually 4 Thai employees per foreign work permit holder (2 if married to a Thai national; BOI quotas differ)
- Passport valid for the full period of stay requested

Visa application
Non-B issued from a Thai embassy abroad or converted from a Non-O / tourist visa in-country.

Work permit filing
Once you arrive on the Non-B we file the work permit at the Chonburi Labour Office.

1-year extension
After 90 days we extend the Non-B to a full year aligned with the work permit.

- Companies that cannot meet capital and Thai staff requirements

Common mistakes to avoid
- Starting work before the work permit is approved
- Company accounts or social security filings not up to date
- Assuming the THB 2 million and 4 Thai staff rule applies to everyone (it is lower if married to a Thai; BOI differs)
